Georgia sends humanitarian aid to China´s quake-hit areas

MOSCOW, May 30 (Xinhua) -- The Georgian Interior Ministry has sent a batch of humanitarian aid to China for earthquake relief, according to reports reaching here from Tbilisi Friday.

The relief aid, which includes 60 tents, has been carried to Urumchi, capital city of northwestern China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, by the Azerbaijan Airlines, and will be delivered to the disaster-stricken southwestern province of Sichuan soon.

The Chinese embassy in Georgia has expressed thanks to the donator and the Azerbaijan Airlines.
