Storms continue to lash southern China

Storms forced 113,000 people in Guizhou province from their homes last month. And now torrential rain continues to pounds parts of the southern country.

Gale force winds, heavy rain and hail cut power lines in Zhijiang city, in Hubei province. Rescue workers have repaired the lines and restored water supplies. Two boats with 16 people on board sunk on the Yangtze River on Tuesday. Nine people have been rescued, but seven are still missing.

Meanwhile, traffic was disrupted in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, because of the storm on Tuesday.
