Threat from 12 barrier lakes subsides

Special Report: Strong quake jolts SW ChinaThe Ministry of Water Resources says the flooding threat has subsided in 12 of the 34 barrier lakes formed after the Sichuan earthquake.
The Ministry says work is still underway on 22 other quake lakes to protect against any potential flooding in the area.
