Bush meets Chinese Vice Premier

Bush said the two sides have demonstrated their commitment to environmental protection with the signing of the 10-year energy and environment cooperation framework. He said the framework shows their broad shared interests in the sector.
Wang Qishan noted the SED mechanism was jointly initiated by Chinese president Hu Jintao and US president George W.Bush. Wang said China is willing to work with the US to facilitate the consensus reached by their leaders to make the dialogue process even more productive.
