Anti-whaling protesters have kept up the pressure on delegates at the International Whaling Commission in Santiago, Chile. They are demanding an end to all forms of whale hunting.

The 60th Conference of the International Whaling Commission will end on Friday. Countries from the Americas to Europe have voiced concern about rising catches of Minke whales in the North Pacific, namely in Japanese and Korean waters.
Protesters say pollution and hunting are causing a heavy toll on the sea's mammals and that whales and dolphins are a barometer of how sick our oceans are.
Japan has presented the IWC with a resolution to legalize coastal whaling. It is the same resolution that anti-whaling countries blocked a year ago.
