Malaysia aid $2.5 million to Myanmar and China

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian government has given 1 million U.S. dollars to Myanmar and 1.5 million U.S. dollars to China to help them face the disasters that occurred in their countries, local media reported on Friday.

Malaysia also gave other forms of humanitarian assistance, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Nazri Aziz said at the parliament here on Thursday.

Myanmar was devastated by a cyclone and China by an earthquake recently.
