The Sichuan earthquake not only caused huge economic losses to people in the region, but it also destroyed medical facilities in some counties and villages. Medicine and equipment have been sent to the areas, but more is badly needed.

This is the major settlement site in Dujiangyan city, with over 6,000 residents. With a temporary medical station, people here can be monitored and treated when they become ill.
One resident said "No matter whether it rains or not, or whether they are busy, they come to take our blood pressure timely."
