Hu Jintao met his Uzbek President Islam Karimov, Philippine counterpart Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, leader of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung bak. Also, Mongolian President Nambaryn Enkhbayar, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. They spoke about cementing bilateral relations and other issues of common concern.
The visiting leaders have congratulated China on the success of the Opening Ceremony.
