Germany´s Schoneborn wins Olympic women´s modern pentathlon gold

BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Lena Schoneborn of Germany won the Olympic women's modern pentathlon gold medal here on Friday.

Schoneborn finished the five-discipline event with 5,792 points. Britain's Heather Fell took silver on 5,752 points, and Victoria Tereshuk of Ukraine had bronze on 5,672 points.
