Tsvangirai is also making an urgent bid for the formation of a power-sharing government, to end an economic crisis that has sparked a severe shortage in food and fuel, as well as hyperinflation, and widespread poverty and unemployment.
Morgan Tsvangirai, MDC Leader, said, "It is therefore imperative that a government be formed in the next few days and begins to implement plans to ensure that our people have food and do not die of starvation . The inclusive government will have to unequivocally make an urgent request for food assistance in order to see us through this period."
