Baghdad car bomb kills at least 9

A car bomb killed at least nine people and wounded 13 in the Bayaa district of southern Baghdad on Sunday.

The bomb exploded in a car parked on a busy commercial street in the the predominantly Shi'ite area. Police said the death toll could rise.
Violence in Iraq has dropped to a four-year low, but militants still carry out bombings and other attacks on an almost daily basis.
