Iraq's Cabinet will ask the U.S. for changes to the draft agreement that would keep American troops there for three more years.

The Cabinet will prepare a list of proposed changes. The decision came on Tuesday at a private meeting, as key Shi'ite lawmakers warn the deal has little chance of approval as it stands.

Iraq's parliament must approve the draft before the current U.N. mandate expires on December 31st.
