In western Baghdad, a bomb concealed under a parked car exploded, wounding two policemen and three civilians.

A roadside bomb also struck an ambulance as it was traveling through

the center of the city. Officials say inside the ambulance, a man who was being taken to hospital because of a heart problem was killed, while three others were injured.

Officials say a third blast occurred in a car in Baghdad's downtown area. Three people were wounded in that incident.
