Obama head for Chicago to thank voting staff

In the US president-elect Barack Obama has visited his campaign headquarters in downtown Chicago, thanking members of his staff for their tireless work on his campaign over the past 22 months.

The Illinois senator told reporters that due to the celebrations after his victory, he did not get as much sleep as he would have liked on election night.
