Kenya elated over Obama´s historic victory

Over in Kenya president Mwai Kibaki has declared a public holiday to honor the victory of Barack Obama in the US presidential election.

The East African country is the birth place of Obama's late father.

On Wednesday, Obama's Kenyan relatives, along with other Kenyans stayed up all night or woke before dawn to cheer the historic triumph of Obama.

In recognition of the fame of Obama's family, a new road is being built to the house of his Kenyan relatives.
