Israeli soldiers evict settlers in Hebron

Israeli security forces have stormed a disputed house in the West Bank city of Hebron, dragging out some 250 settlers who barricaded themselves inside.

Officials say 25 people on both sides were hurt. Thursday's action was the first major West Bank eviction since a violent 2006 confrontation that left dozens of people injured.
More than a dozen settler families took over the house in March 2007 and remained there despite a series of eviction orders. Rioting spread quickly to other parts of the West Bank as well.
