Gaza: First man killed since ceasefire end

Violence is continuing in and around Gaza, resulting in the first death since Hamas formally declared an end to a six-month truce with Israel.

Palestinian medics say a militant was killed in an Israeli air strike. The Israeli army says the attack targeted a rocket-launching squad in northern Gaza, where militants had fired 10 rockets and at least 23 mortar shells into Israel, causing some property damage but no casualties.
