Somalia´s President to resign

Reuters is reporting that a presidential spokesman in Somalia is saying the country's President, Abdullahi Yusuf, has decided to resign.

Wednesday's announcement came shortly after the resignation of a politician he appointed as Prime Minister last week, saying he did not want to be an obstacle to peace in the African nation.
