Mixed response to Israeli attacks

Military sources say that over the past three days, more than 100 tons of Israeli bombs have been dumped on Palestinian lands.

The death toll has surpassed 300 and is continuing to rise. How is the world reacting to the violence?

Gordon Hohndroe, White House Spokesman, said, "Last week Hamas substantially increased its rocket and mortar attacks on the people of Israel. Hamas has once again shown its true color as a terrorist  organization that refuses to even recognize Israel's right to exist."(CCTV.com)

Some are finding the reasons for the war.

Gavriela Shalev, Israeli Ambassador to UN, said, "And really our heart aches for every child, for every innocent person that is being killed or injured but these casualties, and the blood is only on the hands of Hamas."
