World condemn Israeli attacks

The escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip has sparked concern around the world. Secretary General for the Arab League Amr Moussa has condemned the Israeli invasion.

Moussa has dismissed Israel's claims that their actions are "defensive." He added that the whole situation must be viewed within the context of Israel's occupation of Palestinian land.(CCTV.com)

While British Prime Minister Gordon Brown is calling on the international community to press for an immediate ceasefire.

Amr Moussa, Arab League Secretary General, said, "Any action against this occupation should be taken as the people have lost their patience. There's no progress in peace and there is a kind of movement without any result that dates back to fifteen years until now, so the frustration, the anger is prevailing all over. So, we don't understand how come such an attack is considered as defensive."
