Even the threats from Islamist groups - such as al Qaeda and Hezbollah, are not stopping the flow of Israeli tourists. But despite the high spirits, many believe precautions are necessary.
Izabella sacke, Israeli traveller, said, "I feel a little worried...it's a little bit worrying."
As Israeli forces edged into Gaza's most populous area, killing at least 38 Palestinians on Sunday, international anger continues to rise. As protesters around the world denounce the attacks, Israelis travelling abroad could face an icy reception.
Karen Zemer, Israeli traveller, said, "For sure I'll be more aware...speak Hebrew."
On January 6th, al-Qaeda's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahri, posted an Internet message calling on Muslims to strike Western and Israeli targets around the world. Zawahri was joined by the leader of an al-Qaeda-linked group in Iraq, who called on Palestinians to launch global attacks on Jewish and US targets.
