Leaders arrive in Davos for WEF

Special Report: Premier Wen visits EuropeAs the global economic downturn continues to bite, more than 2,500 participants from 96 countries are headed for the Swiss town of Davos for the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum. They include a record 41 heads of state or government.

The 5-day Forum opens on Wednesday and is expected to focus on the global financial crisis and ways to stabilize and reinvigorate the global economy.
Energy security is also expected to be on the agenda. Parts of Europe were left to freeze without gas supplies earlier this month because of a dispute between Russia and Ukraine.
