Australian stimulus hits obstacle

It's been barely 24 hours, but Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's 42 billion dollar stimulus package has already hit a major obstacle.

Shoppers pass through central Sydney.  Australia has launched a 42 billion  dollar (US$26 billion) stimulus package  which includes tax breaks for small  businesses and cash handouts to eligible  workers.(AFP/File/Greg Wood)

The opposition says they will vote against the legislation which the government is pushing to get passed this week.
