Christie´s: Auction to go as scheduled

Despite opposition from China, Christie's says the auction of the bronze sculptures will go ahead as scheduled. The vice president of Christie's America said there's no reason why they should stop the sale.

Jonathan Rendell, Vice President of Christie's Amerrica said "We respect the feelings of the Chinese people. We understand their position. Under international law, there is no reason why this sale shouldn't go ahead. That's our position and we'll respectfully offer the heads on Wednesday."
