China has urged the United States to withdraw a proposed congressional bill on Tibet. The call came on Tuesday as the US House of Representatives was to vote on a non-binding measure on Tibet.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu says China  demands the US stop pushing the bill on Tibet.
