Olmert's last cabinet meeting came ahead of the swearing-in of Benjamin Netanyahu's new government on Tuesday.
And the outgoing leader is urging the new government to do its utmost to allow Israelis to live in peace.
Olmert said, "I really hope the new government will continue to work on the important and central subjects this government worked towards and on its own accord will renew other subjects."
