Now, the human rights action plan is addressing public concerns with principles on protecting detainee's rights and treatment.
The document strictly prohibits corporal punishment, abuse, and insulting detainees or the extraction of confession by torture.
All interrogation rooms must have a physical separation between detainees and interrogators. A state-run physical examination will be conducted for detainees before and after an interrogation.
