China to launch a new remote-sensing satellite

China is scheduled to launch a new remote-sensing satellite on Wednesday. A spokesman with the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi Province says both the satellite, "Yaogan VI," and the Long March 2C carrier rocket are in sound condition and preparation work is well underway. China has so far launched five remote-sensing satellites.
