The director of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi, has met with SEF Chairman, Chiang Pin-Kung, and his delegation in Nanjing.

The director of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central  Committee, Wang Yi, has met with SEF Chairman, Chiang  Pin-Kung, and his delegation in Nanjing.

During their meeting, Wang said the three agreements and one consensus reached during the third round of talks between ARATS and SEF show new progress in Cross-Strait talks and "new achievement" in Cross-Strait relations. He hopes the two sides will boost institutionalization of cross-strait economic relations as soon as possible.

The director of the Taiwan Work Office of the CPC Central  Committee, Wang Yi, has met with SEF Chairman, Chiang  Pin-Kung, and his delegation in Nanjing.

But he also noted there are still inherent contradictions, differences and sensitive political and military issues in Cross-Strait relations.
