The Metropark Hotel in Wanchai where the Mexican patient stayed for hours on Thursday is still in quarantine. Guests and staff members in the hotel are in a stable condition.

York Chow, secretary of Food & Health Bureau, Hong Kong SAR, said, "The people quarantined are all in good health. If any of them feel uncomfortable physically or mentally, we will send him or her to hospitals for a check up."

The Hong Kong SAR government says it will help the guests handle issues arising from the quarantine, such as hassles with visas and air tickets.

Guests are receiving quotas for phone calls to keep in touch with their families without bearing extra costs. Books, televisions, computers and Internet services are also available.
