The confirmed flu patient from Mexico is no longer showing respiratory symptoms. The three people he had contact with before hospitalization have shown no signs of the virus either. Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Donald Tsang, expressed his hope that the guests isolated inside the Metro Park hotel would have some comfort. He also said that Hong Kong still welcomes international travelers.
Donald Tsang said, "The quarantine measures are extraordinary measures during extraordinary times. Hong Kong remains a hospitable city and we welcome everyone to come to Hong Kong to travel and to do business. To those of you who are quarantined, we hope you can be patient, we will provide any help you need."
