China lifts quarantine on all passengers from flu-infected Mexico flight

Chinese health authorities have lifted quarantine on all passengers who boarded a flu-affected flight from Mexico City.

The last passenger from flight AM-098 to Shanghai was released from isolation Thursday evening in Yunnan Province after testing negative to the A/H1N1 influenza. The other 127 passengers, scattered across 18 Chinese locations, were released Thursday morning.

A total of 166 passengers on board the flight on April 30th were held in quarantine on the mainland after one of the Mexican travelers tested positive for the virus in Hong Kong. Among them, 38 Mexican passengers and crew were flown back to Mexico on Monday.
