A fishing boat has sunk near the Yangtze River estuary in Shanghai. One person is confirmed dead and eight others are missing.

A fishing boat has sunk near the Yangtze River estuary in  Shanghai. One person is confirmed dead and eight others  are missing.

The boat, carrying 11 people, collided with a ship. Three people were rescued, but one died from serious injuries. At least 30 vessels and a helicopter have joined the rescue operation. Maritime authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and pursuing the other vessel, which fled after the incident.
