IFRC remembers Wenchuan

The President of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies has expressed his great respect to the Chinese government and people.

Juan Manuel Suarez Del Toro says he's still touched by the bravery and determination of the Chinese government and people in the face of the natural disaster. He calls it a very good example for them. Suarez Del Toro noted that the IFRC sent more than 100 thousand tents by 75 planes to the quake-hit regions. The organization also took part in resettlement and reconstruction.
