The Red Mansion Temple Fair / Honglou Temple Fair

The Red Mansion Temple Fair will be held from in Grand View Garden. Daguanyuan, as the same name as the place in the famous Chinese novel A Dream of Red Mansions by Qing Dynasty writer Cao Xueqin, usually holds Peking Opera performance based on the novel, Chinese Kong-fu, handicrafts, Mongolian dancing performances, Red Mansion snacks and Red Mansion Character performances, etc.

The Red Mansion Temple Fair

Besides the traditional temple fair events, the opera Concubine Yuan Paying a Visit Home, and Amusement in Red Mansion which was adapted from the novel A Dream of Red Mansions, will also be performed. The scenes of Baoyu Getting Married and Celebrating the Lady Dowager Jia's Birthday will also be reenacted at the temple fair.

By the way, the Year Ticket Booklet, and Museum Ticket Booklet could not be used in this temple fair.
