Hong Kong Special Administration Region has 225 charter flights each week to 15 cities in the mainland.

Changchun, Yantai, Taiyuan and Nanning are new cities in the mainland running direct charter flights to Taiwan. So far, 31 mainland cities have 374 flights to Taiwan island each week.

820,000 large and medium-sized buses will run during the Spring Festival travel peak nationwide, and 10,000 buses will be on stand-by.

20,000 ships with nearly 800,000 seats will be operated for passenger transport during the festival. Direct sailings from the Chinese mainland to Taiwan will become busy during the traditional new year, so in addition to the regular 14 ships, five more are arranged to stand-by during the period.
