Premier Wen Jiabao says that Beijing is ready to host the best Olympic Games in history. Most of the local residents in the capital city rally behind him to support the mega project. They have good reasons to do this since the games promise to deliver a lot of revenue and help elevate the image of the country. The event will also help raise the public green awareness. Over sixty heads of state or senior world leaders have offered to attend the opening ceremony.
At the same time, there have been some international attempts to derail the games by associating it with political issues. Joining us now here in the studio are Mr. Gao Zhikai, Director of China National Association of International Studies, Mr. Louis Liu, Managing Director, Rhino Sports, and Mr. Tom Doctoroff, CEO of JWT Greater China.
