Meanwhile, the friendly cooperative relations between the Chinese and Bulgarian armed forces have been steadily deepened and exchanges and contact between them have increased with each passing day. These exchanges and cooperation have enhanced their mutual understanding and friendship. He expressed his belief that, through joint efforts of the two sides, the friendly cooperative relations between the Chinese and Bulgarian armed forces will develop further in the days to come.

Georgiev said that the relations between Bulgaria and China and between their two militaries have been developing very well. He expressed the hope the exchanges and cooperation between the two militaries be further strengthened. He also indicated that Bulgaria would, as always, stick to the one-China policy.
