SANYA, Hainan, April 11 (Xinhua) - Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd arrives in Sanya, a scenic city in south China's Island Province of Hainan, Friday afternoon, for the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA).
Chinese President Hu Jintao will also meet Rudd in Sanya.
And on Saturday, Rudd will attend the opening ceremony of BFA annual meeting together with other foreign leaders.
This is the first China visit since Rudd assumed the office of prime minister in November 2007. He kicked off his four-day official tour on April 9 as guest of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
