"Tibet is a treasure land in eyes of photographers. I have a strong sense to show a real Tibet to the world through my every picture ," said Martin, a French photographer in an interview with Xinhua.

The on-going "Tibet in eyes of world famous photographers" exhibition is very popular in France. over 80 photoes exhibited are taken by about 50 famous photographers from 19 countries and regions, including Martin's works. These photoes show the politics, economy, culture, society of today's Tibet and different aspects of Tibetan people's life.

Standing before a huge photo of Potala Palace, Martin introduced that Tibet was a beautiful land, possessing with the highest mountain and river, the longest and deepest canyon in the world, as well as unsophisiticated Tibetan people and world-renowned Tibetan medicine.

In order to take photoes of Tibetan antelope, Martin waited for 3 days with his Tibetan guide; he lived with Tibetan people and learned Tibetan and riding from them in order to take photoes of their real life. "I am good at riding right now. Tibetan herders are my teacher, " said Martin proudly.

What impressed Martin most is the rapid development of Tibetan economy. He said:"I can strongly feel the amazing progress of Tibet in my visit and has taken many photoes to show its development . In my first visit to Tibet 20 years ago, many Tibetan families were so poor. "

In July 2005, Martin visited Tibet again with a photographer delegation formed by over 100 famous photograpers from home and abroad. He found many Tibetan people's life are better-off.
