Family story: Pick 20 cucumbers and 15 tomatoes for Chairman Mao

Heads of the household: Li Molin (deceased), Li Jinghua (deceased)

Members of the family: seven members, the couple and five children (four girls and one boy)

Profile: Their hometown is in Hebei Province, later the family came to Beijing to make a living. At present, these five children live in Sijiqing and Taizhouwu, Haidian District, Beijing.

This photo was taken shortly after my father and  mother established a cooperative. The other people  in this photo are the villagers who created the  cooperative with them.

　

Photograph of the father with Chairman Mao. The most  valuable objects for elder brother Li Dexi and his  sister Li Dongxia are their father Li Molin’s old  photos and awards. In 1989, they donated over 130  objects such as a photo of their father with  Chairman Mao, certificates and award badges to  Haidian Archives.
