Synopsis of Film

Enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy, Po is the biggest fan of Kung Fu around--which doesn´t exactly come in handy while working every day in his family´s noodle shop.

Jack Black -- Voice of Po

Actor and musician Jack Black began his unique double career as a cult figure on the L.A. “alternative” comedy scene before he was upgraded to scene-stealing character roles in larger pictures, eventually taking the lead in some of the most quirky and endearing comedies of the early millennium. Forays into headier romantic dramas did not cultivate as much enthusiasm as Black’s signature role – that of an overconfident, smart aleck loser with an arsenal of expressive faces and a gung-ho attitude towards the most absurd plans of action.
Dustin Hoffman -- Voice of Shifu

Dustin Hoffman emerged as a key figure in the “Hollywood Renaissance” of the 1960s and ‘70s, personifying a new generation of anti-heroes in “The Graduate” (1967), “Midnight Cowboy” (1969), and “All The President’s Men” (1974). The Strasberg-trained actor was known for unrelenting dedication to his craft in some of the big screen’s most demanding roles, earning an Oscar nomination for playing an actor in drag who unwittingly becomes a female role model in “Tootsie” (1982), and for his portrayal of an autistic savant in “Rain Man” (1988), which finally won him a long overdue statue.
Jackie Chan -- Voice of Master Monkey

If Buster Keaton were alive and well and living in Hong Kong, directing and starring in kung fu comedies, the end eroduct would probably resemble the films of Jackie Chan. Chan´s action sequences, while at least as thrilling as the very best of Hollywood, are further distinguished by meticulous, witty choreography that transforms potentially lethal action into elaborate clowning. As in Keaton´s films, the viewer´s laughter is sometimes stifled by awe at the sheer physical prowess on display.
Angelina Jolie -- Voice of Tigress

From wild-child Hollywood brat to, Academy Award winner, to respected U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, actress Angelina Jolie underwent a series of metamorphic transformations over the course of her career. An exceedingly beautiful, strikingly talented performer, Jolie broke on to the scene in the mid-1990s, quickly gaining a reputation for both her on-screen work as well as her outrageous off-camera antics. Interestingly enough, however, within a decade, Jolie shed her reckless image and successfully managed to re-invent herself – not only as an artist, but also as a celebrity humanitarian of the highest order.
David Cross -- Voice of Master Crane

Since its earliest days, comedian David Cross’ career was defined by two things: adoration by critics and disinterest by mainstream audiences. His stature in the alternative comedy world made him one of the subgenre’s brightest stars, seemingly ripe for breakout success for literally decades. Highly intelligent, brutally honest, and often confrontational, Cross never seemed to care too much about conventional success.
Lucy Liu -- Voice of Master Viper

Native New Yorker Lucy Liu skyrocketed to popularity in 1998 when she played the deliciously malicious Ling Woo on the hit comedy "Ally McBeal" (Fox, 1997-2002). Fresh off of her television success, she went on to establish a big screen persona as the petit, butt-kicking heroine of stylish action outings like the “Charlie’s Angels” franchise and “Kill Bill, Vol. 1” (2003). In 2007, she returned to a regular TV role with the Darren Star drama “Cashmere Mafia” (ABC, 2007), playing one a tightly-knit group of independent professional women supporting each other through the ups and downs of career and romance.
Seth Rogen -- Voice of Master Mantis

Unlike many of Hollywood’s GQ-esque, A-list types, comedy actor-writer Seth Rogen, with curly locks and Yogi Bear physique, was instantly embraced by audiences for his common-man appeal. While paying his initial dues working on a variety of TV sitcoms, he fell under the tutelage of producer-writer-director Judd Apatow. Under Apatow’s brilliant guidance, Rogen’s wise-beyond-his-years wit and improv skills on “Freaks and Geeks” and his dual role as actor-writer on “Undeclared” ultimately led him to shine in two Apatow hit films: first, as hilarious blue-collar sidekick to Steve Carell in “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” (2005), followed by the unlikely leading man in “Knocked Up” (2007).
Ian McShane -- Voice of Tai Lung

British actor Ian McShane has had a long, venerable career, though for most of it he remained unknown to American audiences despite frequent appearances on television and in movies. One of his better known roles—as the smooth-talking criminal mastermind Teddy Bass—came in 2001 in Jonathan Glazer’s stylish crime thriller, “Sexy Beast.” While most of the accolades went to fellow Englishman Ben Kingsley for his scathing performance as the barking-mad bank robber Don Logan, McShane received his share of good notices for his portrayal of the sinister financier of a bank heist that eventually goes bad. But his most recognized and rewarded role came in 2004—forty-two years after his first onscreen performance
