Dearest People of China:As you rebuild your home and lives please be careful of your part of this planet. We who have developed our lands before you are suffering from the damage that we did to our lands, water and air. Most likely, our children will not live as long as we will because of our previous industrialization. We have destroyed the fishing grounds; we have polluted the lakes and streams. We have made grave mistakes thinking we were developing. Moreover, now we are discovering that our growth did not have to be so destructive -- we could have developed our economy without destroying our land. I hope the best for the People of China -- I hope that you will do better than the western worlds in protecting your land, water and air. And I hope for you lives that full, prosperous and loving.Elizabeth

May 12 will always be remembered, so as the passings will never be forgotten. Believe in yourselves and believe in the Chinese government, I am sure the new Wenchuan and others will rise from the ashes and theChinese Anthem will be heard throughout.Good luck and blesses to ALL.
