Women-only subway carriages during the rush hours are being suggested as a way to keep Beijing´s female passengers free from overcrowding and harassment. But the idea has met with mixed reactions.

I think there´s no need to set up a seperated carriage for women ,coz it´s safe in public,on one will harass you

Implementation of a women-only subway carriage is a step backwards for China. Historically, the way women are perceived is left wanting. In the past 100 years, woman´s rights have changed drastically. This idea of segregation will undermine future equal rights and woman´s place in society.

That doesn´t say much for the behaviour of the general male public. It represents a general slide in moral standards.

i am back on the view that to set up a seperated carriage for pregnant women or old man or children or who want to in only women or girls´s choice.it´s really a good policy. it need to be carried out immediately. there is existing some annoying men who are trying to make women harassment and not feeling good.
