BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese leaders Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun and Zhou Yongkang on Thursday visited an exhibition which showcased the achievements of the country's five autonomous regions since the founding of New China.
The show reflects the world-shaking changes that happened in these ethnic areas during the 60 years after the founding of the People's Republic of China, said the leaders, adding that the vivid and convincing exhibits proved that ethnic unity was a basic benefit for all ethnic groups.
The country's five autonomous regions are: Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Tibet Autonomous Region.
