BEIJING, Sept. 26 -- Ticket prices for scenic spots in Tibet will not rise during the National Day holiday, which starts on Oct. 1.
"During the National Day, Tibet is likely to launch promotion activities, but will not introduce hike in ticket prices for scenic spots," said Wang Jingran, director of the Department of Price Supervision of Tibet Development and Reform Commission.

According to Wang, the department will launch supervision and inspection on price fluctuation in Tibet in order to maintain the stability of market prices during the week-long holiday.
The supervision will mainly focus on cereal, oil, meat, dairy products, transportation fare and tourism market.
