　　Wrestling

　　Wresting is a form of empty-hand combat. It is both an amateur sport and a professional sport. The object is to score more points than the opponent by grappling with him, throwing him to the ground, and holding his body down. The two recognized styles of wrestling are Greco-Roman and freestyle.

　　Wrestling matches take place on a mat. The mat is twelve metres square. Amateur bouts consist of two rounds of three minutes. Wrestlers fight according to weight divisions. The lightest category is up to 48 kilos. The heaviest category is over 100 kilos.

　　Wrestling as an art of self-defense was practiced by the Greeks and Romans. It was included as a sport in the ancient Olympic Games. The International Amateur Wrestling Federation was founded in 1921. In the same year, the first World Amateur Wrestling Championships were held.

　　Dominant nations in world wrestling include Russia, East European countries and the USA. Wrestling requires stamina, speed, agility, flexibility and coordination.

　　摔 跤

　　摔跤是一项徒手进行的格斗运动。它既是业余的也是职业的运动项目。这一项目比赛的目标是通过搏斗抓握对手，将其摔倒在地，并坚持将其身体压住从而获得比对手更多的分数。公认的两种摔跤项目是古典式和自由式摔跤。

　　摔跤比赛在垫子上进行。垫子上是12米的正方形。业余（运动员）一场比赛有两局，每局3分钟。摔跤运动员的比赛按体重分级，最轻量级为48公斤以下；最重量级为100公斤以上。

　　摔跤，古希腊和罗马人曾作为自卫的习练手段。摔跤在古代奥运会就列为竞赛项目。国际摔跤联合会成立于1921年。同年，举办了第一届世界业余摔跤锦标赛。

　　世界上在摔跤运动方面居于领先地位的国家有俄罗斯，东欧国家和美国。摔跤运动要求（运动员）具有力量，耐力，速度，灵活性，柔韧和协调性等素质。

　　关于体育产业方面

　　1995年《中华人民共和国体育法》的颁布实施，使我国体育事业发展的经费，体育设施用地、规划、建设和保护等保障条件以及体育经营管理以法律的形式固定下来，体育经济工作由此进入了依法推进的新阶段。

　　自1995年《体育法》出台之后，各省、区、市共出台了体育法规100多项，全国共有18个省（自治区、直辖市）人大和政府颁布了地方性体育法律、法规，其中绝大多数是涉及体育经济工作的法规。
