| 2nd Cross-talk Contest to be Held |

CCTV will hold its 2nd Cross-talk Comedy Contest during the 2003 New Year's Festival. Having learned a lesson from the last contest that quality control is important, this year CCTV has solicited contributions for entry qualification.
In response many performing artists and fans have sent in their submissions, and the contest's hot-line has been ringing off the hook with applicants.
To date, the office has received over 500 works from both professionals and amateurs on various topics from new and refreshing angles.
With the October 10 application deadline drawing near, the organizers and relevant authorities hope that cross-talk performers and fans take this last chance to enter their names for the contest.
