| December "Outlook" Finals |

The yearly finals of the Outlook English Challenge Contest have concluded with videotaping and will hit the TV screens every Saturday in December.
 Entrants to the competition, sponsored by the program "Outlook-English Magazine", come from the winners of the weekly Outlook Star English Contest. After several weekly rounds, a monthly championship follows, and then all monthly champions are entitled to enter the finals. This year, there were altogether 9 monthly champions and they battled for the yearly champion title.
These English competitions are more than a test of the participants' English proficiency in speaking and listening. Equally important are their intelligence, demeanor and breath of knowledge. Being the sole domestic TV English contest exclusive to middle school students, the Outlook weekend edition has become good entertainment for many that want to improve their English. Its flexible and diversified style makes it a very popular program.
