| First "Red River Cup" Concludes |

The 1st "Red River Cup" National Anchors Image Design Contest concluded on December 9. The first prize went to CCTV anchor Wang Hao and Li Yanchun. The silver went to Liaoning TV's Gu Xiaodan with her designer Ma Jiao. And the third place winners were Duan Mei and Zhang Guoping from Chengdu TV.
The contest provided a T-stage not only for image designers but also for TV anchors, who demonstrated their eloquence and capacity to pilot their programs just right. It consisted of three parts: the introduction of each one's characteristic design; question-and-answer tests on professional knowledge; and on-the-spot improvised design. Packaged by the designers' clever hands, the anchors tried to impress audiences with conspicuous program style in perfect harmony with their images and temperament. The image designers and anchors helped each other display their skills. That's why each prize was given to a couple composed of an anchor and a designer.
 Many well-known anchors and stars showed up at the finals and closing ceremony. They included Zhao Zhongxiang, Li Ruiying, Hong Yun, Bai Yansong, Xu Li, Zhang Zheng, Song Shixiong, Beijing TV's Kong Jie, Taiwan amateur anchor Huang An, artist Wang Xia, Zhao Baole, Zhou Na and Ma Yanli.
